About Libeco Linen
BELIEVE IN LINEN
We have been producing linen from generation to generation for over 150 years, yet today, our passion for this incredible fabric is stronger than ever before. We are proud to create a concept based on the same values as our ancestors. As they did so many years ago, we transform flax into unique linen products.
Linen is durable, comfortable, highly absorbent, lint-free and non-allergenic. The flax fiber (from which linen is made) is fully biodegradable and recyclable; every part of the plant is used. Growing flax requires no irrigation and very little chemical treatment. Linen is a textile of the future.
We hereby certify that this linen has been producted in Belgium by our experienced artisans using the best flax fibers. This product of superior quality carries a Belgian Linen (TM) certificate of origin.
Our dyed linens are wash-fast and light-fast. Some of our products, flax and natural colors, are un-dyed. These products have undergone no chemical dye treatments. Over time and through washing, the flax and natural colors will gradually fade and the products will have a beautiful natural patina, known only to linen.
All of our linens can be washed or dry cleaned with confidence. For best results, we recommend the following care instructions.
-Unfold your linens completely before washing.
-Do not overload the machine.
-Wash your linens at max. 40* C /104*F.
-If possible, line dry. It's best for linen and the environment. If using a tumbler, dry on medium heat. Do not over dry.
-Iron with steam on slightly damp linen (best the inside of the fabric)
Some products have specific care instructions. Please read and apply them carefully. Please also keep in mind this is a completely natural product, created by artisans, so slight variations in size and color are always possible.
Simply sophisticated, pure...linen.
